I take a sun stroll daily in this field full of Swamp Sun Flowers and Golden Rod

Fire Pit near Pond. I may light Friday.

Clearing some of the forest near the pond.

We are using the debris for the forest to create a Dead Hedge.

Here is the structure of the Dead Hedge. These 2 panels are about 8' X 1'.

After 1 day, we completed 3 panels of about 11'L X 1'W X 1'H

Day2: 4 Panels are about 14'L X 1'W X 18"H

I added another panel today, Saturday, 10/04

And moved a lot of the cuttings from the forest....

I enjoyed a small fire last night. YES! I said small fire. It grew quickly. I had a water hose ready. I actually used it several times to tame the flames. 😜

I moved most of the forest debris,

added another panel and

transplanted some ivy.

Here today's 10/06 progress on the Dead Hedge.

10.07 Tuesday: I added another section or panel and curved the hedge a little bit to creatively make a pass through.

I did more work stacking limbs into the Dead Hedge today.

There are a lot of spiders here. According to Google, these 2 are NOT harmful to humans.

I worked down the debris pile to a small batch that will incorporate into the Dead Hedge tomorrow.

My final day in Dothan. Here is the nearly completed hedge about 4 feet tall.
