Hollywood Day 13: Repair Irrigation Pipe and Complete Fence Staining

 The other HelpXr here offered me some support to repair an irrigation pipe that I accidentally severed with a shovel. We tested the lines and this appears to be inactive. Out of caution, we decided to repair it.

We went to Home Depot to gather the pieces. Please imagine a gringo who speaks some Spanish with a guy from Brazil who only speaks Brazilian Portuguese in Home Depot. HA HA

Hollywood Day 12: Stain Top of Fence

The hosts asked me to stain the top of the fence. But with rain everyday, I had to delay the start until now. The forecast is better, sunny, warm, etc. for the next few days. Yes, the heat advisory is concerning. I will work on it in early mornings and later in the afternoons/evenings.

I found the shower mirror this morning had jumped to its demise.

Hollywood Day 11: Sun Stroll, Tree Trimming, Mowing

Enjoyed a Sun Stroll in a cooler, drier morning.

After a morning Sun Stroll, I trimmed a tree back from the front entrance.

Hollywood Day 10: Dusting and Vacuuming

I completed dusting walls, ceilings, ceiling fans, hanging pictures, decor, etc. as well as vacuuming under, behind, et. al.

Instead of bike ride due to the high winds, I took a long Sun Stroll.

The rain has abated considerable, so I went for a long bike ride.

 

Hollywood Day 9: Shower Pad Pavers Positioning

 I found 7 additional pavers that matched the larger shower pavers when I cleaned out this garden.

The shower pad consisted of large and small pavers.

The small pavers are stacked next to the electric conduit in the center of the photo. I test fitted together the large pavers for the new shower pad on the right of the photo.

The small pavers for the shed electric conduit border are just in front of the shovel.

I took a short sun stroll with storm clouds forming. I returned just as the rain began. Rain has been steady for the past 3 hours.

An AirBnB guest left today.  I turned over the room.

Dinner: Chicken Thighs, Vegetables and Brown Rise topped with Sour Cream and Siracha.

Hollywood Day 8: Dust Ceilings, Walls, Floors, etc.

 I completed dusting ceilings, walls, floors, etc. of my room, the Living Room & Kitchen. 

I will do other rooms later in the week.

I wanted to take a bike ride this afternoon, but,,,,,,,,

I saw the sky and turned around.

Hollywood Day 7: Long Bike Ride

 I took a long bike ride only encountering rain in the last 1 mile.

I rode by an apartment here that I rented in 1996.
